Signature Cocktails for any Wedding Celebration
For a good majority of brides to be, a bar is an integral part for their perfect wedding day blue prints. Whether it is beer and wine or an elaborate nonalcoholic bar, signature drinks have become a trend that has secured a seat on the list of things to do when planning upcoming nuptials. Whether you crave a hard hitting martini or a sweet and fruity, mixed concoction, here are some tips to selecting the perfect signature drink.
- Decide what options will be offered at you bar. Before you start your mixology training, you have to decide what drink options you are going to offer your guests. Since your weddings guests are typically friends and family, it should be pretty easy to pinpoint what alcohol will be a winner and which options will fall short. Consider if your bar will offer alcoholic or nonalcoholic options, what your guest count will be and above all, what your budget for the bar is.
- Pick a recipe you like… or two. Don’t limit yourself on this detail. If you want to do his and her signature drinks, it’s not a crime. Having more than one signature cocktail offers your guests options while also including your groom in another aspect of your special day.
- Rename the drink. The fun part about a signature drink is that you can basically call it whatever you want. Mash up you and your future husbands name for a clever title or give the drink a name that fits your wedding theme.
